Thanks for sharing! As an MK in reckoning, I’m looking forward to that book. I failed my reading challenge this year so I’m looking to be more intentional about getting through my to be read bookcase (because it’s now a case not a shelf anymore 😬) in the coming year.
Great suggestions all! However, #10 had me immediately heading to pre-order, and when I read the description on Amazon my jaw dropped. It sounds like the exact issues I've been having to process as I deal with the long-buried fallout from my MK childhood. And then also....the Cotswolds!!! Our favorite place on earth....counting the days until we are there in June! What joy to be able to split your time like that....truly so happy for you!
I hardly know which to begin with first. I’m confident though, my husband, a MK kid, will look forward to reading about someone else who journeyed a similar path in childhood. Being a missionary kid was so hard for him. Finding inspiration in other’s journeys will mean so much and poss help towards healing. Thank you to the author.
Your book selection does inspire a message:
Prepare, be strong, turn to the past and learn from those who have endured … as well as blessed others in times of difficulty.

This is a whole industry now …
“memoir/investigative reportage post-evangelical literature of this generation”

Thank you, again. I(we) needed this.

Some good-looking books in there! I need to read Compton and Berkley-Fletcher for sure.
Thanks!!!
